Small Ways to Go Above and Beyond with Customer Service
By Maurice Gerardi, Omega Design Events & Nite Mix Entertainment - March 20, 2017
Small acts can go a long way to building goodwill with your customers. Here are some ideas to make every interaction personal and helpful.
- Respond to customers as soon as possible.
- Lots of questions? No worries!
- Write personal notes on customer invoices whenever possible, and specially acknowledge repeat customers.
- Allow customers earn shopping credits to spend on their next order.
- Put the odd surprise gift turning up in packages!

What Are Acceptable Tax Write-Offs For DJs?
Nobody wants to pay more tax on their hard-earned DJ wages than they have to - but is it really possible to claim back some of the things DJs try to claim?
I've known DJs try and claim their clothes as "costumes", and their drinks as "sustinence" (yeah, a bottle of JD is, like, a really nutritious dinner, and so completely OK to put on expenses!).
