Wedding Planners: What You Don't Know About Wedding Insurance

It can happen.  Weddings and events are sometimes forced to be cancelled or rescheduled. So, have you ever talked to your clients about wedding insurance?

1. Protect your clients against financial losses and unhappiness if severe weather, unexpected illness, or military deployment force a special event to be cancelled.

2. Coverage in the event of property damage to a venue, personal injury, or alcohol-related accidents.  Many venues now require clients to purchase their own liability polices.

3. Insurance can provide important financial protection.  If an unforeseen occurrence forces the cancellation of an event, or an incident results in significant liability on the part of the host/honoree, having the right insurance coverage can help make things right when things go wrong.
